This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders from malvêtu are produced, prepared, shipped, tracked, and delivered.
We want every customer to understand the delivery process before placing an order. Many malvêtu pieces are produced after order confirmation through professional production and fulfillment partners. This means production time and shipping time are separate parts of the delivery journey.
This page should be read together with our Cancellation Policy, Returns & Exchanges, Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and Legal Notice.

Production and fulfillment are handled through professional partners. Carrier delivery is handled by the relevant postal service, courier, or local delivery partner.
4. Production time and shipping time
Production time and shipping time are separate.
Production time is the time needed to prepare and produce the item after order confirmation.
Shipping time is the time the carrier takes to deliver the package after it has been handed over for shipment.
Your full delivery experience may include both periods.

A tracking number may appear before the carrier has scanned the package. This is normal. Tracking may take time to show movement after the label is created.

Because many orders enter production quickly, changes may only be possible before the order enters production or fulfillment.

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

malvêtu cannot guarantee correction of an address after the order is placed.
If the shipping address is incomplete or incorrect, the package may be delayed, returned, undeliverable, or delivered to the wrong location.
Where a package is returned or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment where reshipment is available.
9. Changing the shipping address

Address changes may only be possible before the order enters production, fulfillment, or carrier processing.
Once an order is in production, fulfillment, or shipment, address changes may no longer be available.
10. Order tracking
When tracking is available, a tracking link or tracking number may be sent by email.
Tracking may show one of the following statuses:

Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier. Some carriers update tracking frequently. Others may update only at major transit points.

11. Packages marked as delivered
If tracking shows that your package was delivered, but you cannot find it, please first check:

12. Delayed packages
Delivery delays can happen.

We may need time to review tracking, confirm delivery status, contact partners, or investigate the issue.
Where a package is confirmed lost and the issue is not caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, failure to collect, unpaid customs fees, or other customer-side delivery issue, malvêtu may offer a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution according to applicable law and our policies.
14. Returned-to-sender packages
A package may be returned to sender for reasons including:

Where reshipment is possible, additional shipping fees may apply if the return was caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, failure to collect, or unpaid customs charges.
If reshipment is unavailable, we will review the available options based on the order status, product type, destination, and applicable law.
15. Failed delivery attempts
Some carriers may attempt delivery more than once. Others may leave a notice, hold the package at a pickup point, or return it after a limited period.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and collecting packages where the carrier requests pickup.
If a package is not collected within the carrier’s holding period, it may be returned or disposed of according to carrier rules.
16. International shipping
International orders may pass through customs in the destination country.
Customs processing may affect delivery time and is controlled by local authorities, not by malvêtu.
International customers should be aware that delivery may involve:

17. Customs, duties, and import charges
Depending on your destination, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, carrier fees, brokerage fees, or local charges may apply.
These charges are determined by local authorities or carriers.
Unless expressly stated at checkout, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, import charges, taxes, carrier fees, or local fees required for delivery.
malvêtu does not control these charges and cannot always predict them before shipment.
If a customer refuses delivery or fails to pay required customs or import charges, the package may be returned, abandoned, delayed, or destroyed according to carrier or customs rules. In such cases, original shipping charges and return costs may not be refundable where permitted by law.
18. Split shipments
An order may arrive in more than one package.
This can happen when:

If your order is split, each package may have its own tracking number.
19. Pre-orders, limited releases, and special releases
Where malvêtu offers pre-orders, limited releases, or special product releases, shipping timelines may differ from standard orders.
The relevant product page, checkout, or order confirmation will provide available timing information where applicable.
If a release has a longer production or shipping window, that timing will apply to the relevant order.
20. Damaged packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please keep the packaging and take clear photos before opening or discarding it.

21. Damaged, defective, misprinted, or wrong items

22. Color, print, and garment variation
Product photography is prepared carefully, yet slight variations may occur.
These may include:

print placement

print scale

texture

stitching or construction details

measurement tolerance
These variations can result from screen settings, lighting, photography, garment characteristics, production processes, and measurement methods.
A slight variation does not automatically mean a product is defective.
If the item is materially different from what you ordered, damaged, defective, misprinted, or wrong, contact customer care and we will review the issue.
23. Worn, washed, or altered items
Shipping-related claims should be made before the item is worn, washed, altered, damaged through use, or handled in a way that prevents proper review.
If there is a delivery or product issue, inspect the item when it arrives and contact us before wearing or washing it.
24. Customer responsibility after delivery
Once a package is delivered to the address provided at checkout, customers are responsible for collecting and securing the package.
If your building has a reception desk, mailroom, parcel locker, concierge, shared entrance, or local pickup point, please check those locations when tracking shows delivery.
If theft is suspected after confirmed delivery, we may recommend contacting the carrier, building management, local delivery office, or local authorities.
25. Delivery restrictions
Some products may be unavailable for certain destinations because of carrier restrictions, fulfillment restrictions, customs rules, address limitations, or operational constraints.
If an order cannot be shipped to your destination after it is placed, we will contact you using the email address provided at checkout.
If the order cannot be fulfilled, we will cancel the affected item or order and issue an appropriate refund.
